FUP
Fair Usage Policy for Internet Services
The basic criterion is the transfer of data via the Internet. This volume of data transferred to and from the customer is called traffic. This traffic is divided into two modes:
- daily mode from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- night mode from 0.00 to 8.00 h
Based on the volume of data transferred, customers' transmission speeds can be optimized, which is guaranteed by the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) system. By adhering to the FUP rules, it is possible to comfortably use the maximum achievable speeds without any speed restrictions.
Information about your connection can be found at http://fup.antik.sk .
Fair Usage Policy for single-family homes connected via antenna
The following rules apply to calculating downloaded traffic:
- If the traffic in the last 48 hours was not higher than 100 GB of data (ANTIK PLUS 200 GB), then the FUP rule will not apply.
- For a customer who has traffic of 100 GB (ANTIK PLUS 200 GB) of data or more for 2 consecutive days, the system will set the so-called SHAPE (maximum allowed speed) for the customer to 2 Mbit/s, which means that the customer will not exceed this speed for the next 2 days from the setting of the so-called SHAPE rule. After this time, if the customer does not exceed the above-mentioned data volume, the SHAPE will be canceled.
First of all, it is necessary to realize that exceeding such a limit can occur either due to a disproportionate amount of downloaded data, which can be checked online with various types of programs (the DUmeter program recommended by us) or through informative information on the website. http://fup.antik.sk or the excess may occur due to poor configuration of the customer's computer (not installed antivirus programs, antispyware programs, not updated operating system).
Verifying connection status
The customer can monitor the status of their connection at any time on the following websites:
- http://blacklist.antik.sk – list of blocked IP addresses on the mail server smtp.antik.sk
Fair Usage Policy for Email
To prevent the spread of unsolicited e-mails (spam) from the ANTIK network, automatic monitoring of the number of e-mails sent from each computer connected to the ANTIK network using the SMTP server smtp.antik.sk for sending mail has been implemented.
The limit for the number of emails sent in 1 hour is 100. After exceeding this limit, your IP address will be blacklisted on the website. http://blacklist.antik.sk . The restriction lasts for 7 days. In case of repeated inclusion of your IP address in this list, the restriction is multiplied by the number of inclusions in the blacklist (i.e. in case of a second blocking, your IP address is blocked for 2 weeks). More information can be found on the page http://blacklist.antik.sk .
